Bahá’u’lláh’s own words proclaim it,
巴哈歐拉親口宣告：

“Soon, will the present day Order be rolled up, and a new one spread out in its stead. Verily, thy Lord speaketh the truth and is the Knower of things unseen.”
「不久，當今的秩序就要翻騰起來，一個新制度將取而代之，舒展開來。你們的主所說的確是實言，它知曉一切隱秘之事。」

“By Myself, the day is approaching when We will have rolled up the world and all that is therein, and spread out a new Order in its stead. He, verily, is powerful over all things.”
「以我自己為誓，那日子已經臨近。屆時，我將席捲世界及一切，並展現一個新體制來代替它。的確，它的力量壓倒一切。」

“The world’s equilibrium, hath been upset through the vibrating influence of this Most Great, this new World Order. Mankind’s ordered life hath been revolutionized through the agency of this unique, this wondrous System, the like of which mortal eyes have never witnessed.”

“The signs of impending convulsions and chaos, can now be discerned, inasmuch as the prevailing Order appeareth to be lamentably defective.”

“That which the Lord hath ordained as the sovereign remedy and mightiest instrument for the healing of all the world is the union of all its peoples in one universal Cause, one common Faith. This can in no wise be achieved except through the power of a skilled, an all-powerful and inspired Physician. This, verily, is the truth, and all else naught but error.”
「造物主命定醫治全人類的特效靈藥及萬能工具，就是全世界團結在一個普世聖道裡、一個共同信仰中。除非通過熟練的、全能的、獲得啟示的神醫的力量，這是絕不可能成功的。這的確是真理，其他一切皆為謬誤。」

“It beseemeth all men in this Day, to take firm hold on the Most Great Name, and to establish the unity of all mankind. There is no place to flee to, no refuge that anyone can seek, except Him.”

“The whole earth is now in a state of pregnancy. The day is approaching when it will have yielded its noblest fruits, when from it will have sprung forth the loftiest trees, the most enchanting blossoms, the most heavenly blessings.”
「整個世界正處於孕育之中，即將結出最美的果實。這個日子已經臨近，屆時，這果實將萌發出一株株參天大樹，開出最絢麗的花朵，賜予最神聖的恩惠……」

‘Abdu’l-Bahá has written,
“The Call of God, when raised, breathed a new life into the body of mankind, and infused a new spirit into the whole creation. It is for this reason that the world hath been moved to its depths, and the hearts and consciences of men been quickened. Ere long the evidences of this regeneration will be revealed, and the fast asleep will be awakened.”
阿博都巴哈曾經這樣寫道：「當上蒼的呼召響起之時，將向整個人類呼出新的生命，向整個創造界灌輸新的靈性。就是由於這個原因，世界已被徹底推動，人類的心靈與良知已被復活。不久，這種再生的徵兆將被展現，酣睡者必將甦醒。」

Shoghi Effendi has written,
The Revelation of Bahá’u’lláh has, in His own words, “lent a fresh impulse and set a new direction” to this vast process now operating in the world. The fires lit by this great ordeal are the consequences of men’s failure to recognize it. They are, moreover, hastening its consummation. Adversity, prolonged, world-wide, afflictive, allied to chaos and universal destruction, must needs convulse the nations, stir the conscience of the world, disillusion the masses, precipitate a radical change in the very conception of society, and coalesce ultimately the disjointed, the bleeding limbs of mankind into one body, single, organically united, and indivisible.
聖護守基阿芬第曾經這樣寫道：
「巴哈歐拉天啟已經為這個在世界上發揮廣泛作用的進程，提供了“新動力，確定了新方向”，這個大考驗所點燃的烈火，是人類沒有認知它而造成的結果。非但如此，他們還火上加油，使災禍達到高峰。與混亂及廣泛的破壞有關的長期普遍的折磨人的苦難，必然震撼各國，激勵世人的良知，啟發人民群眾，導致社會觀念的徹底變革，最終將人類斷裂的、流血的肢體接合起來，成為一個密切連合、不可分割的有機體。」

This momentous and historic step, involving the reconstruction of mankind, as the result of the universal recognition of its oneness and wholeness, will bring in its wake the spiritualization of the masses, consequent to the recognition of the character, and the acknowledgment of the claims, of the Faith of Bahá’u’lláh—the essential condition to that ultimate fusion of all races, creeds, classes, and nations which must signalize the emergence of His New World Order.
「這一重要的、歷史性的步驟，包含了人類的重建,這是對人類一體化及統一性的普遍承認所引起的結果。所以，這個過程必將隨之喚起民眾的靈性發展，乃至承認巴哈歐拉信仰的本質及認識它的各種主張——即一切種族、信條、階級以及國家最終融合為一的根本條件，象徵著一個新世界體制的出現。」

Then will the coming of age of the entire human race be proclaimed and celebrated by all the peoples and nations of the earth. Then will the banner of the Most Great Peace be hoisted. Then will the worldwide sovereignty of Bahá’u’lláh—the Establisher of the Kingdom of the Father foretold by the Son, and anticipated by the Prophets of God before Him and after Him—be recognized, acclaimed, and firmly established. Then will a world civilization be born, flourish, and perpetuate itself, a civilization with a fullness of life such as the world has never seen nor can as yet conceive. Then will the Everlasting Covenant be fulfilled in its completeness. Then will the promise enshrined in all the Books of God be redeemed, and all the prophecies uttered by the Prophets of old come to pass, and the vision of seers and poets be realized. Then will the planet, galvanized through the universal belief of its dwellers in one God, and their allegiance to one common Revelation, mirror, within the limitations imposed upon it, the effulgent glories of the sovereignty of Bahá’u’lláh, shining in the plenitude of its splendour in the Abhá Paradise, and be made the footstool of His Throne on high, and acclaimed as the earthly heaven, capable of fulfilling that ineffable destiny fixed for it, from time immemorial, by the love and wisdom of its Creator.
「那時，世界各國及全人類必將宣布並慶賀全人類已達到成熟階段。那時，至大和平的旗幟必將升起——巴哈歐拉的大同之國才會被承認、歡呼及牢固地建立起來——巴哈歐拉就是聖子所預言的、古往今來的先知所期待的那個聖父天國的締造者。那時，世界上從來沒有、也難以想像的一種文明就會誕生、興旺，永世長存。那時，永恆的聖約才能完全實現。那時，密藏於上蒼聖書中的許諾才能應驗，以往先知們的預言才會成全。那時，預言家和詩人們的理想才能實現。那時，一個全民信仰上蒼、忠於一個共同天啟的地球，必將在它的領域內，反映巴哈歐拉王國的燦爛光輝；在阿巴哈天堂閃耀著它的璀璨光芒，成為他在天上的寶座的立足之地，歡呼世上的天國，有能力通過創造之主的愛及智慧，實現由亙古注定給它的不可言喻的命運。」
